According to a Korean newspaper, Chosun Ilbo, two of the world’s most successful automotive firms, Toyota and Tesla, are secretly attempting to create an alliance to jointly build a new electric vehicle (EV) platform.
Tesla is expected to use its experience in software development and car programme modulation, while Toyota is expected to focus on the platform and other aspects of the vehicle’s overall construction.
Since both parties have remained quiet about the development so far, no details about which brand name would be used to sell these cars have been revealed.
