Prime Minister Imran Khan announced on Twitter that the government is working on a comprehensive feasibility report for ski resorts in order to boost winter tourism in Pakistan.
He tweeted, “Exploring the viability of winter tourism and ski resorts, Deosai plains first-ever winter ski traverse.”
While the PM’s Twitter post was short in details, he did say that the high altitude areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and the majestic Deosai plains are Pakistan’s first-ever winter ski traversing venues.
