Babar, Imam create new partnership record for Pakistan in ODIs

Babar and Imam have now accomplished 100-run partnership on ten occasions in ODIs

To put it simply, the teamwork between Pakistan captain, Babar Azam and left-hand opener, Imam ul Haq, has been fantastic over the years in ODI cricket.

They have scored a lot of runs together and have now surpassed the partnership record set by Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan, two great batters of Pakistan.The duo achieved the feat during the second ODI against Afghanistan in Hambantota, as they got together for a stand of 108 runs after losing in-form Fakhar Zaman early in the innings.

Babar and Imam have now accomplished 100-run partnership on ten occasions in ODIs, thereby surpassing the record previously held by Yousuf and Younis, who had stitched 100-run partnership nine times.

Yousuf also features at third spot on the list along with Inzamam ul Haq, as the pair notched up eight 100-run partnerships in ODI cricket.
