Mohammad Rizwan creates history with maiden PSL ton

Multan Sultans’ captain, Mohammad Rizwan, smashed his maiden PSL century on Wednesday against Karachi Kings at Multan Cricket Stadium.

The wicketkeeper-batsman upped the ante after reaching his fifty in 42 balls.

Rizwan created history as he took only 18 balls to get to his hundred from fifty, completing his century in just 60 balls. It is the fastest 50 to 100 acceleration by any Pakistani batter in PSL history.

The wicketkeeper-batsman finished with an unbeaten 110-run knock from 64 balls, to help his team reach 196-2 in 20 overs.

Rizwan has continued his rich vein of form as he now has six fifties and a century under his belt in his last 10 T20 innings.

This is Rizwan’s second century in T20 cricket and is also the second ton in this season of HBL PSL.

Rizwan is currently the highest run-scorer in this season with 329 runs at an average of 109.66 and a strike rate of 144.
