Renowned US Blogger Cynthia Ritchie Joins PTV

US blogger and writer, Cynthia Dawn Ritchie, has reportedly joined Pakistan Television (PTV), the state broadcaster stated in a now-deleted tweet on Monday.

“Filmmaker and writer Cynthia Ritchie has joined PTV and will be a part of PTV World in the future,” the tweet said according to screengrab widely shared on social media.

Later, Cynthia later confirmed the development on her Twitter handle by retweeting the now-deleted tweet. She said she was delighted to join

She is not new to the limelight, whether it is for her views on promoting Pakistan, or trolling PTM and Indian social media activists, she remains in headlines for one reason or the other.

Last year, she leveled rape charges against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator, Rehman Malik, who vehemently denied charges and took her to the court. Later, both parties reached an out-of-the-court settlement.

ust a fortnight ago, Ritchie was found unconscious in her Islamabad apartment and taken to hospital for treatment. After the treatment, she claimed that two Indian spies had tried to poison her for working in Pakistan.

Now, the social media enthusiast is set to host a show on PTV World, the details of which are yet to be confirmed.
